These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Cal AI: Calorie Scanner app ("App") operated by Cal AI: Calorie Scanner ("we", "us", "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Use of the App

The App provides intelligent nutrition analysis of meal photos and voice descriptions. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the App
• Use automated systems to interact with the App
• Redistribute or resell the App or its content

Nutrition Estimate Disclaimer

The nutrition data provided by Cal AI: Calorie Scanner is estimated using intelligent image recognition and should not be considered medical advice. Calorie and macro estimates are approximations based on visual analysis. For packaged foods, always refer to the nutrition label. Consult a healthcare professional or registered dietitian for medical nutrition guidance.

Subscriptions

The App offers subscription-based Premium access:

• Weekly subscription: $2.99/week with a 3-day free trial
• Annual subscription: $29.99/year
• Lifetime access: $89.99 one-time purchase

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device, and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

Free Tier

New users receive 3 free meal scans to try the App. Free access includes core features such as goals, dashboard, weight tracking, and streaks; unlimited scans, voice logging, and full history require Premium (a subscription or the one-time Lifetime purchase). On iOS, free users may see ads (via Google AdMob); the Android version does not display ads.

Intellectual Property

The App, its content, features, and functionality are owned by Cal AI: Calorie Scanner and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cal AI: Calorie Scanner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which Cal AI: Calorie Scanner is incorporated.
